Alberta Ecotrust Foundation | ENBIX with support from the Biosphere Institute of the Bow Valley is offering a new ‘Solar-Ready Design’ workshop for builders. This workshop was developed with contributions from Solar Alberta and the Local Energy Efficiency Partnership (LEEP) program from NRCAN.
This workshop explores how to optimize new construction for the integration of solar photovoltaic (PV). Solar PV generates electricity directly from the sun. Topics covered include major solar trends in Alberta, using the LEEP Solar PV guide, best practices and solar case studies.
Solar can add value to your next build and set your designs apart. Great solar projects add lasting value to owners and occupants.
This session is intended for builders, designers, developers, and trades. It will also be useful for municipal officials, building codes officers, architects, and consultants. While much of the content is built around residential examples, most of the material is applicable to commercial developments.
