ENBIX’s Calgary and Edmonton Knowledge Exchanges are events open to any building industry professionals. They will identify Calgary and Edmonton-specific challenges and opportunities and share success stories. Knowledge will be shared through a presentation, workshop, meeting or tour, and participants are expected to actively engage and give feedback.

Embodied carbon refers to carbon associated with the manufacturing, transportation, installation, maintenance and disposal of materials used in building projects. 

The Embodied Carbon Knowledge Exchange is a quarterly discussion-based event focused on embodied carbon in the building industry. It is open to any building industry professionals with knowledge of, or interest in embodied carbon. This group will identify challenges and opportunities and share success stories.

As a local hub of the Carbon Leadership Forum (CLF), CLF Alberta empowers industry professionals to reduce embodied carbon from buildings and infrastructure.

The purpose of the Training Alliance Knowledge Exchange is to bring together key partners, including academic institutions and training organizations, to address existing gaps in training opportunities, promote awareness of higher tiers of code adoption and disseminate knowledge. The Training Alliance will facilitate the exchange of best practices within the building industry and support the improvement of training curriculum and delivery pathways to mobilize tiered code adoption knowledge in Alberta.
