Join Joe Henke from ENBIX (Alberta Ecotrust Foundation) as he presents an introduction to “Solar-Ready Design”. This session is for builders, developers, and trades interested in understanding how solar energy can work in their projects. It will cover the basics of solar energy in Alberta, building design considerations, and impacts on the costs of ownership, construction, and project delivery.
Developed by Solar Alberta and featuring content from Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCAN) Local Energy Efficiency Partnership (LEEP), this presentation will help builders and developers how they can optimize projects for the installation of solar.

Joseph (Joe) Henke is dedicated to reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions and developing a healthy communities. Before joining ENBIX Joe was working as a Residential Energy Advisor (REA) working with home owners to reduce their emissions. He is a graduate of the Lakeland College Sustainable Energy Technology program and a Certified Energy Manger (CEM).
