DESCRIPTION:Launch your future in the green economy at our Green Economy Gatherings\, brought to you by our Environment and Climate Change team (ECC) and Iron & Earth. \nAre you a Métis Citizen living in Fort McMurray? Your Green Economy Gathering will take place on May 30 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Fort McMurray Golf Course. Live somewhere else? Visit albertametis.com/green-economy-gathering to view the full Green Economy Gatherings schedule. \nYou will have the chance to network with industry experts and mentors\, learn about green sectors such as renewable energy\, and explore how you can get involved in the green economy and the just energy transition. \nThe Green Economy Gatherings will be hosted in community settings\, and food and drinks will be provided. Each Gathering is a drop-in\, booth-style event that features: \n\nBooths from local organizations and industry representatives in the green economy sectors\, including renewable energy\, energy efficiency\, sustainability\, and more\nInformation about career opportunities in green economy sectors\nOpportunities to connect with industry leaders\, community mentors and other Citizens\n\nRegistration is encouraged but not required.
