SUMMARY:Retrofit Roadmap Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Deep retrofits are essential to reaching net-zero\, but they remain complex\, costly\, and difficult to coordinate. Retrofit Canada’s Retrofit Roadmap aims to change that. \nIn this webinar\, Peter Amerongen will walk participants through the Retrofit Roadmap: a practical\, end-to-end guide designed to help project teams plan\, sequence\, and deliver deep retrofits more effectively. Rather than focusing on isolated upgrades\, the roadmap emphasizes whole-building thinking and long-term planning to avoid expensive mistakes\, missed opportunities\, and locked in long term emissions. The Retrofit Roadmap is based on deep experience designing and building successful deep retrofits. It supports homeowners\, building owners\, energy advisors\, contractors\, designers\, and policymakers in making informed decisions across the full retrofit journey. It helps users align short-term actions with long-term goals\, coordinate upgrades at the right time\, and prioritize measures that improve comfort\, indoor air quality\, energy performance\, and lifecycle value. \nHosted by ENBIX and Retrofit Canada\, this session will highlight how better planning and sequencing can unlock healthier buildings\, lower operating costs\, and stronger outcomes on the path to net-zero. \nLearn more about the Retrofit Roadmap at retrofitcanada.com/learn.

SUMMARY:Getting to Zero Research Project: Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a virtual information session to learn more about Alberta Ecotrust’s newly launched Getting to Zero Research Project. The session is from 12–1 pm on Monday\, February 2nd.\n\n\n\nThis session will cover: \n\nA project overview\nProject streams\nEligibility\nRequirements and how to submit an expression of interest\nQ&A period\n\nAbout the project:\nIn Alberta\, the building industry plays a significant role in reducing emissions by shaping how homes are designed\, built and powered across the province. This project works with the industry to turn real-world data from low or zero-emissions buildings into practical insights that can be applied across Alberta. \nWe are working with designers\, builders\, consultants\, contractors\, developers and homebuilders of Part 9 residential buildings across Alberta to gather and purchase data from their low or zero-emissions projects. The project includes three participation streams\, with payments of up to $8\,000\, $10\,000 and $25\,000 available for data collection. Thank you to the City of Calgary\, City of Edmonton\, RBC Foundation and Peter Gilgan Foundation for their generous support of this project. \nVisit our website to learn more\, review eligibility\, and contact us with questions.
