Geo-exchange systems (often referred to as ground-source heat pumps or geothermal) is a growing technology with exciting potential to reduce energy and carbon in all building types. The focus of this presentation is to introduce different models of ownership for geo-exchange assets and how they address financial barriers to investment. An Alberta case study will be featured.

Expect to learn:

  • How geo-exchange systems achieve net-zero energy buildings
  • What innovative financing solutions exist for geo-exchange systems
  • How co-operative utility models improve energy security and support local communities

This webinar is ideal for builders, developers, municipal officials and tradespeople working on HVAC, electrical and drilling systems.
