Summary:
This repository presents best-practice examples and case studies of how European historic buildings can be renovated to achieve high levels of energy efficiency while respecting and protecting their heritage significance.
While the information is from across the world, it is still applicable to Alberta as the climate’s are similar and the technology and processes can be applied everywhere.
The documentation gathered here provides information on the building and its construction, heritage assessment, building material specifications, energy efficiency, building services and comfort as well as on retrofit solutions and products. Check out the site here.
